Next up: I want to spend more time talking about the way that the illusory transparency of intention intersects with issues of verisimilitude, relevance (and at which layer of representation it is understood to obtain) and the mystery-novel clue. Is it even possible to create a version of the illusory transparency experiement that controls for conventions of narrative and reading?
That all makes sense to me, though I'm sure to anyone else it is impenetraby dense. That's okay; I'll sort it out later.
