A dinner
It finally feels like fall, and there is much rejoicing. Just a little driveby dinner report:
Eggplant with slow-sauteed onions, capers, and peppers, with fresh mozzarella melted on top.
Salad of pale, pale butter lettuce and tiny leaves of dark, dark spinach, with assorted varieties of cherry tomatoes.
French martinis.

Just curious -- what makes a martini French?
