"Then why don't you eat something?" she asked.
"It's no use," said the Tiger sadly. "I've tried that, but I always get hungry again."

I am not the awesomest.

This weekend I failed to do any cooking ahead. Now I do not feel like cooking at all. Cooking and eating, what a hassle! Why would anyone want to do such a tiresome thing? Surely I can just live on squares of Ritter Sport, potato chips, fizzy water, and intellectual stimulation.

I have ripe avocadoes and skinny egg noodles, though, so I guess I will try making fideos instead. Harrumph.

Bear up Bison, never say die! Nobody plans ahead every time, and you're still waay ahead of the cooking curve! Remember: There's a reason for the frozen section in the grocery store.

Okay, I have to admit that the fideos came out wonderfully, and that I don't begrudge the effort.

Thanks for the moral support, Amanda! It's very much appreciated.

But nonetheless, way awesomer than most. I loves fideos.

Just made a simple pureed soup of potatoes, fennel, garlic, and parm. It was pretty good.I put little sliced fingerling potatoes in at the end, and cooked them through.
