Today I had a citrusy, thirsty kind of hankering, and so I made the sweet, sour, and spicy blackberry limeade recipe at grub, and danged if it isn't tasty as can be. (The spiciness is very low-key, just a sort of enhancement to the tanginess.) It's nice of them to convince me that it's good for me, too. The limes at my local store are particularly small and hard right now, so it took seven rather than four to make three quarters of a cup of juice, and my right arm and shoulder got quite a workout squeezing them, too. Now I feel extra virtuous.
S. got a new battery charger for our camera today, so maybe I'll be able to document how pretty the limeade is, too. That would be keen.

I am delighted to confirm that this stuff is ridiculously delicious. It marries well with (1) vodka, (2) orange bitters, or (3) nothing at all.
Posted by Skot at January 12, 2005 11:46 AMThat recipe looks delicious - I am going to have to try it. Thanks for the link to grub as well - looks like my kind of organization.

Except that, boo, it was the wrong kind of charger. I've ordered the right kind, though, so the end of photolessness is in sight.
