"Then why don't you eat something?" she asked.
"It's no use," said the Tiger sadly. "I've tried that, but I always get hungry again."

I scream, you scream

Some really great people gave me an ice cream maker for my birthday. It is highly addictive. I got a chance to play with the gelato ingredients I brought home from Italy, and made a batch of delicious coffee ice cream. Wonderful though the coffee flavor was, I think the thing that made it so especially good was the incredibly tasty organic nonultrapasturized cream. It gives the ice cream an amazing consistency, fluffy and tasting wonderfully of cream, unlike most cream, which tastes more like pourable butterfat. Since I am lucky enough to have an easily accessable source for such stuff, I may make plain cream ice cream next. It's utterly simple -- no need for a custard base, just two cups cream, one cup whole milk, and 3/4 cup sugar.
