Where your eyes don't go, a part of you is hovering

Looking directly at the artifacts of At-Best-Intermittently-Acceptable Past Me can be pretty uncomfortable. Oy, what a dork. But it is probably healthy, like some foul-tasting Edwardian tonic.

As I was going through some old files today, I found a half-completed zine I wrote circa 1998, titled Throw This Away. The theme was ephemera, and it was good and terrible in about equal proportions, intimately intermingled for maximal discomfort. But there was an exhaustive review of gummy candies that I was able to read and enjoy, and which I might be able to get myself to repurpose for this site. Chuckles and gummi bears and blackcurrent pastilles, oh my.
