Tofu and other things
I am all giddy with the excitement of contemplating my syllabus for next semester -- it will be the first semester after I've paid my debt to society in sections of Freshman comp, which is most thrilling. You will hear more about this, without a doubt. Tonight we are having delicious pho, with the broth I made last weekend. In this context, I have discovered the shocking fact that if you fry up your tofu at home in some nice hot oil, it magically comes out just like the fried tofu one encounters at all the lovely Asian food huts. Will wonders never cease?
