As my mother --who is, inter alia, involved in various sorts of breastfeeding advocacy thingys--likes to point out, not only is drinking soda from a bottle disgusting from a nutritional point of view, it is also wreaks terrible damage in the tooth decay realm. “They're baby teeth, they're going to fall out anyway,” you say? True. Still, I think we can legitimately add this to the list of reasons why this story is horrifying.

I have been told that french fries were the first "adult" food I ever ate (and I still love them). But I do remember lots of lima beans, brussel sproute and spinach as a child.
