« A lunch | Indonesian tofu and cauliflower puree »
Among our purchases this weekend was a sack of four small Mission avocados. Soon they will be ripe, and then we will have delectable guacamole tacos, which I have recently discovered are one of mankind's most wonderful inventions.
Our first weekly sack of vegetables will appear on Thursday. Farmer Allen warns that it will be starting slow, with just some salad greens and that sort of thing. I'm still mighty excited to see what we get. Mm, vegetables! In the meantime, I've finally discovered a source for my favorite shopping sacks. In addition to my old favorite, we've also ordered a couple of these similar bags, to see which we like best.
This is quite a treat, because I've been finding that we don't go shopping often enough that my ordinary tote bag is enough to carry all the groceries; or else I just stop in and get a few things when I happen to think of it and don't have the tote bag with me (and don't have enough room in my shoulder bag full of books). The result is a frustrating infestation of disposable grocery bags, UGH. A handful of handy little bags is just what we need to remedy both of these situations, I hope.

Yes, exactly! Their magical memorability is one of their finest features. I'm very glad that someone else will benefit from my having found a source -- I'd been looking for one for ages and ages.

Aren't those bags the best? I love that they have their own cover, and that they are small enough that I seem to always remember them. Thanks for the online source ...
