"Then why don't you eat something?" she asked.
"It's no use," said the Tiger sadly. "I've tried that, but I always get hungry again."

The versatile avocado

What an appealing idea: avocado chapatis. Often I have a spare avocado left from my bag of four or five, after a batch of guacamole and one or more other meals garnished with avocado all in the same week, and this seems like an excellent scheme for using up those loners (though I have also recently been reminded of how good avocados can been in salads, too, so there may be some competition for the green buttery goodness). The prospect of chapatis that stay nice long enough to pack in a lunchbox is very appealing, too!

A friendly aquaintance of mine in high school had a book on healthy eating for dancers that contained the memorable paired admonitions that cheese was the enemy, and one should never eat more than one avocado per day.

have you tried avocados with lemon juice and sugar as a dessert? Another good way of using up that last-one-in-the-bag.
